OCBC appoints Melvyn Low as head of global transaction banking

He was previously ASEAN and Singapore head of treasury and trade solutions at Citibank N.A.

OCBC Bank has appointed banking veteran Melvyn Low as head, global transaction banking.

Having been in the industry for more than 25 years, Low accumulated a wealth of experience across the sales and product management, transaction services, cash management, trade and securities and fund services segments.

He spent 18 years in Citibank N.A. where he occupied the seat of head of ASEAN and Singapore, treasury and trade solutions which covers the bank’s transaction service business in eight countries.

He also served as the director of the Singapore Clearing House Association since 2010 and was a key player in the launch of electronic fund transfer platform FAST (Fast and Secured Transfers) in 2014.
