BOC allowed to cooperate with Taiwanese banks

Bank of China won approval from the regulators in Taiwan for its plans to cooperate with four Taiwanese banks. These include the Taiwan Cooperative Bank, according to Zhao Rong, spokesperson of Bank of China.

The two parties will cooperate on areas such as foreign exchange, trade financing, syndicated loans, interbank lending and the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises.
