Metrobank declares PHP1 per share cash dividend

It represents a 20% payout of previous year’s earnings.

According to Maybank Kim Eng, Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co declared PHP2.1b in cash dividends or PHP1/share, generally in line with the analyst's estimate.

"This represents a 20% payout of previous year’s earnings. Based on current price of PHP104.40/sh, this translates to a dividend yield of 1.0%. MBT has yet to set record and payment dates."
