Citi APAC's virtual programme attracts 500 Singaporean students
It has modules on investment banking and markets and securities services.
Almost 500 university students in Singapore have joined Citi Asia Pacific’s virtual work experience programme since its launch in early-July, according to an announcement.
The programme hopes to provide the students with insights into life as an analyst whilst helping them build skills to pursue a career with Citi or in the banking sector. It offers two modules covering investment banking and markets and securities services, with a consumer banking module to be rolled out in August.
Each module takes five to seven hours to complete and can be accessed by Singaporean studying in universities abroad.
In each module, bankers design a case study where they present students with a business problem and invite them to submit their solution. Outstanding students may be invited for permanent roles at Citi or summer internship opportunities.
