HDBank to issue $258.7M worth of CDs

HDBank will issue US$258.7 million worth of Certificates of Deposits for both the dong and dollar. This will be applicable from March 24 to May 23, 2011.

Of the sum, total value of dong and dollar CDs are VND5trillion and $20million, respectively.

Both dong and dollar-denominated CDs will be issued for individuals in many terms including one-month, two-month, 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 364-day terms, the lender said, adding that coupons and principal will be paid on flexible basis.

The minimum par value for each CD is VND5million for dong and $100 for dollar.
