Shanghai Commercial Bank
Shanghai Commercial Bank, also known as ShaComm Bank or SCB, is a bank based in Hong Kong. It was founded on November 1950.
Its parent company is the Shanghai Commercial and Savings Bank (SCSB) -- a Taiwan-based bank that was established in Shanghai in 1915 and moved to Taiwan following the second world war. The bank officially resumed operations in Taipei in June 1965 with total capital of NT$15m and 29 employees.Together with its subsidiaries Shanghai Commercial Bank (SCB) in Hong Kong and AMK Microfinance Institution in Cambodia, SCSB manages total consolidated assets more than US$75b and capital more than US$1.6b and has shareholder's equity more than US$5.5b.
