More than 2,600 Thai entrepreneurs benefit from GHL expansion of Alipay+
Tourists can pay through AlipayHK, Kakao Pay, Touch 'n Go eWallet, and Alipay.
Payment services company GHL Systems has enabled over 2,600 Thai businesses to accept cross-border digital payments from known Asian mobile wallets.
Travellers in Thailand now have the option to use their country or territory’s e-wallets at over 5,000 retail outlets powered by GHL.
This includes AlipayHK, Kakao Pay, Touch 'n Go eWallet, and Alipay. Thai merchants have been accepting Alipay since 2015.

This alliance has been boosted by Alipay+ integration, a global cross-border digital payment and marketing solution operated by Ant Group.
The integration has targeted a wide range of tourism businesses, including retail, F&B, hospitality, and attractions.
In the first quarter of 2023, Thailand achieved its target for tourist arrivals, welcoming 6.15 million visitors. As tourists return to Thailand, they expect a seamless payment experience through mobile wallets, enhancing their overall travel and retail experience.
