Alipay+ now accepted at PayNet’s DuitNow QR merchants in Malaysia

Alipay+ will add more partners in the near future.

Travellers using Alipay+ partner e-wallets from eight Asian markets can now pay using QR at over 1.8 million merchant touchpoints across Malaysia.

Effective 31 October, travellers with the following Alipay+ can now pay through Malaysian merchants accepting DuitNow QR:

• Alipay (China)
• AlipayHK (Hong Kong SAR)
• HelloMoney by AUB (Philippines)
• Hipay (Mongolia)
• MPay (Macau SAR)
• Naver Pay (South Korea)
• Toss Pay (South Korea)
• TrueMoney (Thailand)

The collaboration also includes loyalty rewards and discounts at DuitNow QR merchants in Malaysia.

DuitNow QR is the National QR Standard operated by PayNet. Participating merchants can accept real-time payments from customers of participating banks and e-wallet in this, as well as other connected countries with a single unified QR code.

Alipay+ said that there are more payment partners in the pipeline.
