DBS Taiwan unveils credit card for everyday purchases

Cardholders earn one reward point for every NT$5 spend and points have lifetime validity.

DBS Bank Taiwan has unveiled “Everyday Card,” a new credit card designed for everyday goods and service purchases, reports Taiwan Times.

Users earn one reward point for every $0.16 (NT$5) spend on dining or wholesale markets, theaters, gas stations, bookstores and digital stores. Points are also valid for a lifetime unlike rewards programme of most credit cards which are valid for two to three years.

The launch comes on the heels of DBS Taiwan’s earlier credit card debuts, Travel Card and Live Fresh Card which were launched in June and August respectively.

DBS has around 676,784 cards in circulation as of September 2018.
